Ladder makes its triumphant return!!!
The ladder has officially been reopened, three hours ahead of schedule!!!

The deadline to get your old ranking back has passed, so anyone who did not respond to the email is now a 'resting' player and must come off the resting list at the bottom of the ladder. You will be allowed to challenge anyone in the lower 80% just like any new players can.

All summer games will be painstakingly added to the database eventually, but the rankings have been already adjusted accordingly. If you think you are misplaced, you can email me and complain about it, or you can just go out and beat somebody and then email me to tell me how stupid I am.

If you have any questions or whatever, email me as always. Don't forget you can always play matches and report scores even if it is not 'officially' on the ladder challenge system. Play as much as you want and have fun!

Be sure to reserve a court as the greatest sport on earth is very popular! SERF Reservation Line is (608) 262-8244

Don't forget about the Women's ladder, especially if you are a woman. Womens' Ladder

Forfeits SUCK!!!
I just want to clear up a couple minor points.

If you are challenged from below, and you do not play the match, you will automatically forfeit and the person who challenged you will move up above you. Please don't let this happen, as we would like the rankings to be as accurate as possible. I will always give you as much time as you need, but you have to CONTACT ME about it. To give you more time, I change 1 database entry. To fix a forfeit, I have to change about 75 entries. I will not change forfeits. The way I see it, if you have the time to email me and complain about it, then you had the time to email me and ask for more time. You should be getting two different reminders before your match is forfeited.

Court Reservations
If you plan on playing a ladder or league match during the regular club times (M 6-8, W 8-11), please make a court reservation as a courtesy to other players. It's been very crowded lately and it would allow more people to play. The reservation line for SERF is (608) 262-8244.

The goggles, they do something!
Please remember to wear eyeguards whenever you play racquetball. If not for the sake of your own eyes, think of how bad your opponent will feel if they accidentally blind you.

I'm basing the inital ladder positions on last year's data from leagues, so if you are new, you'll have to fight your way up. We let you challenge someone pretty high in your first challenge if you think you deserve to start higher. Contact the admins if there's a problem and we'll place you wherever you want.

UW Racquetball ladder is open for Business!!!
Please help perfect the ladder by reporting any bugs you may encounter to the administrator. Everything should work fine, so use it as normal. (don't TRY to break it- I'm sure names like J$ ' O/%& Smith will screw it up etc.) Feel free to ask any questions or send any criticism constructive or otherwise as well. Thanks and enjoy!
